To vision

Hey all!
This week's vlog:
GOD is super awesome!!
- Three days' journey and JESUS
JESUS is called by many names or titles, but one of those is that HE is the only begotten Son of GOD. In Exodus, GOD called Jacob (Israel) HIS firstborn, because JESUS is the vine and we are the branches. The Jews were the first nation that GOD chose, not because they were the best, but because they were the most difficult of all nations. Not to be insulting, but it's by HIS own words and HE even said that when HE rescued them, it was for HIS Name sake (the same with Ezekiel 20, when HE purified HIS Name in the sight of the Egyptians by dealing with the people that carried HIS Name that departed from knowing HIM and abandoning their idols).
JESUS was in a grave for three days and the people had to journey for three days. JESUS journeyed for three days and preached to those in the grave and gained victory over death and sin, etc. HE was the perfect sacrifice, and it is finished! :D
- Possible overlapping of plagues - but also why not
While I do see why people would consider this a possibility (which we'll get to), I first want to state why I disagree with the possibility of them overlapping.
You see, there is a belief sometimes that if it's not written in scripture, it didn't occur. One major example of this is the belief that there was no rain before the flood of Noah. Scripture never directly states it. The closest that people try to use to argue against rain is the mist that GOD used:
"And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground."
Genesis 2:5, KJV
As you can see here, it clearly says that up to that point of creation (before man was made), there had been no rain, because HE had not yet caused it to rain. Going beyond this is going beyond scripture.
Another is in Hebrews, Noah warned of things (plural) not yet seen:
"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."
Hebrews 11:7, KJV
Again, saying that that is rain, is again going beyond scripture, because it says things. That means judgement, JESUS, the destruction of the anti-Christ, etc. could all have been part of those things - especially if you recall that Abraham saw JESUS' day afar off and Moses too.
Was there rain? I can't say for sure. Was there not? I can't say for sure. What I can say is the same that one of the AiG scientists said - whether there was or was not, stating or assuming so absolutely one way or the other is going beyond scripture - in other words, it's not going to touch your salvation whether it rained or not before the flood, haha.
The same goes for the plagues overlapping or not overlapping. Exodus isn't exactly clear on this, but we do have a pattern after the first plagues:
1) Pharaoh gets warned to let the people go or there will be a plague
2) Pharaoh brushes them off and won't let them go (hardens his heart)
3) Plague hits Egypt full force
4) Pharaoh agrees to let the people go
5) Plague goes away
6) Won't let people go
Because we have this cycle, it is a very strong possibility that Moses did not include this with every single plague, because it does not really add anything to the reader, nor does it really make sense to add excessive amounts of information. Moses stated a few times:
"But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said."
Exodus 8:15, KJV
And then we have the start of the next plague. This can be interpreted as an overlap, but can also be interpreted as not, because Pharaoh consistently hardened his heart and refused to listen only when there were no plagues on-going. Only when the plagues came did he listen. Personally, that pattern of behavior says that it's very very unlikely that the plagues overlapped. Not impossible, just very very unlikely.
You could also say that GOD multiplied HIS wonders, as in this verse:
Again, this is a very weak defense for overlap, but it is an interesting concept. Personally, I believe every plague was it's own event, despite the lack of detail.
The argument for them overlapping is just the lack of detail. Remember, the lack of detail defense is not a very good one. Take for example how many times it's mentioned that Moses went to the bathroom. I don't recall a single time. Israel received instructions for this, but there is no record of anyone doing their business. Does that mean they didn't? Of course not, hahaha. The better argument is looking at what is there and basing what's not there on that (like above, where Pharaoh persisted in not letting GOD's people go).
- Decision to vision
I was just working on the storyboards and talking to GOD about it and as clear as day, I felt the HOLY SPIRIT say that I have to do it as a vision. Not vision as in open vision, where GOD shows you something upcoming or reveals certain things, but vision as in someone talks about something and you can see it in your head. Vision just means the ability to see (personal definition), so that's all we're doing - seeing it before it takes place. Hahaha, puts it in the realm of the other kinds of visions too, hahaha.
- Continuation of the storyboards
There are many plagues still do do and of course there is the passover and it's instructions that need to be visualized as well. That means the following vlogs will probably still carry story boards. Don't know for how long though, but I have to say, it is certainly an interesting thing to do story boards to this degree. For Esther 6, I only had to do a double page of frames and even they didn't take up all two pages, hahaha. Very cool to be able to go through this process.

Biggest thanx to GOD for helping me with this. Without HIM, none of this would be possible! :D
