Pharaoh's room was quite the challenge and I spoke about this before. Since he was a royal and thought himself a literal god, I can promise you he wanted the best of the best and wanted you to throw that away and get something even better! lol. No, just kidding. I don't know how much of a brat he was. For all I know he actually cared much for his people, but had a prideful and fearful heart that caused his irrational choices - apart from GOD hardening his heart - which is still quite a myster...

Hey all!

I bet you thought I stopped working on Exodus and that it is a tower to defeat, NOPE! Still working hard. The only hold up was that GOD had me take a short break from it to release the node groups and even then I didn't really stop thinking about it. Check out the node groups video and link:

- Broken legs no more

Last week during recording, GOD gave me a solution to the frog problem - that I shared with you guys. This week, HE gave me another one as it relates to random frog rotation. With the first fix - the legs remain perfect, but they can only go in one direction. The fix in the week fixed the legs and they can go in any direction. Both fixes have their place. The first one allows you to have all your frogs go in the same direction....

GOD is beyond words!!! Just wow!!

- Broken legs?!

I am happy to say that I am not talking about my own legs here, haha. Whenever the frogs jumped in the floor footage, their IK's would lag behind and because of overall rotation, the legs would break and unbreak with every jump. This week I'm aiming to fix it, because just after the recording, GOD gave me the solution and I edited it in. So keep an eye out for that!

Thankfully I was able to let you guys know there wasn't going to be a vlog, but at the same time I hate that there wasn't. Thankfully it is not for lack of productivity, hahaha. Some of this week did go into upgrading and improving the shaders as well (not yet available as v2, haha). GOD willing, soon!

- Frog problems

Now I spoke about the frogs two weeks ago. While the frog was finished ito modelling, there were some serious issues with the rig. You'll remember that the eyes were heavily drooped as a result. Now, personally, I don't have a problem with droopy eyes (mine are a little droopy too, hehe), but this was borderline terrified or extremely disappointed. So it had to be fixed.

Haha, finally! We have a frog! Progress people, progress! Small, but still there! Think I'm just plain tired tbh, haha.

Anyhow, I'll get to fixing the rigging this week, GOD willing, and then move on to animating it and then we can get on to chapter 8's more visual production. So, it was sooooo long ago, how do we know what frog to use. Well, honestly and truly, we depend on the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT to make the absolute best selection possible. For me, HE takes me through research and in that process directs me to this or that article. For example, the research led to nothing on wikipedia alone. And I mean literally nothing. There was nothing to say what kind of frogs you would typically find in Egypt ...
