Abaddon - The Destroyer

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Thursday, April 16, 2020, In : Teaching
Listen to the post:

Hey all!

So yesterday, my cousin and I were talking about the end times and a teaching we had listened to earlier in the week concerning the same, and I recalled the part in Exodus 12 (thank YOU LORD) about the destroyer, so I did a little digging to see if the mention on Revelation is the same from Exodus.
Let's start with these:

"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
And he opened the...

An epic confrontation

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Thursday, July 27, 2017, In : WIP
Hey all!
This week's vlog!!

GOD is super!!!

- Choice in serpent
I have talked about it before, but I want to write it here again, since this is where the serpent features again. It featured all the way back in September 2016 (oh yeah, it's been almost an entire year! hahaha).

When you go and look up serpent in the interlinear Bible, you will find that serpent is defined as pretty much any kind of reptile (including dinosaurs). If you look at dinosaurs from a truly Biblical perspective, you w...

Hey everyone!!

It's that time of the week again and wow did this week feel short! hahaha. Without further hold up, here's the video!

GOD is beyond awesome!!!

Magicians:
   Manipulation within reason
As with most people, their faces differ, but the question is how far does it need to be pushed in order to be a unique individual. Well, you can consider a few basics:
 - Overall head shape
 - Chin shape
 - Skinniness of the face
 - Eye corner angle
 - Eye distance
 - Nose length
 - Mouth size and shape
Beyond...

Pharaoh joins the cast

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Thursday, September 15, 2016, In : WIP
Hey all!

Here is this week's vlog:

GOD is so amazing!!!

- MHX2:
I had no idea that MHX2 would add support for the IK rig. I was just browsing through the Make Human Community forum, looking to see if my tutorials were being used and later also for new tutorials that would prove useful and this one by Joel is certainly very useful! Just installed it while the vlog was uploading, and I am definitely more interested in using it than before. Before I thought that it would be kinda pointless, seeing a...

New videos announcement!

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Saturday, September 3, 2016, In : WIP
Hey all!

Now, I want to clarify the title before going any further. Two videos - a tutorial and a vlog.

- The Vlog:
As you all know, a vlog is simply a video blog, where you document something pertaining to the way you do life or whatever. For me, it will be a much easier way of communicating progress to you guys on upcoming videos, so they will appear here on this blog as well as on the YouTube channel, so if you want to be the first to get the vlogs, hit that subscribe button on YouTube! :D
You...

Animation and sound effects

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Thursday, March 10, 2016, In : WIP
Hey all!

Today's update takes a bit of a different route. I'm actually gonna let you watch everything I've been graced to put together so far - not fullHD, as that takes significantly longer and this took long enough to upload last night so I can actually share it, hahaha.

So, here is everything put together so far:

(Only 01:08, so it's a quick watch)

Now let's get into what went into this, hahaha.

Animation challenges and tips:
- Make sure your models are complete before rendering.
Sounds kinda duh...

The king's room

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Thursday, February 18, 2016, In : WIP
Hey all!

Time for the weekly update!

This week, the focus has been on the king's room. For me, this is incredibly difficult, because I find no info on traditional Persian interiors. I do know that they did do a lot of things the same way as the Indians did - lots of arches, pillows, low to the floor furniture, etc., but honestly, I don't know to what extent this is the case, so I have to follow peace and ironically, it has made for quite a modern appearance.

Additionally, since the first time we...

Wow another

Posted by Marius Oberholster on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, In : Tutorials and tips
Good day everyone!!!

I am so blessed to be given such an assignment from GOD - to make Bible animations. I can honestly say that I have no clue how many videos I'll be able to make, but I'll tell you this, I want to do all 66 books in totality. That may take some time, hahaha.

With GOD all things are possible, so let's see what HE does!

Welcome to the new blog! This blog is here to keep you up to date on developments in the making of these videos, progress images and even some tutorials. Feel fr...
