  - Audio to-do list for chapter 7 (excludes music)
    I am so glad to be this close to done with chapter 7! GOD knows how much just this chapter and all the rest of the prep work for it has stretched me in every way!! I am very satisfied with the quality and the length as well. I'm nowhere trying to lengthen it unecessarily, because it's not supposed to bore you to tears - it's supposed to be experienced, like Eric Hovind said about Genesis: Paradise Lost (haven't seen it, so I don't know how it is, but I have followed it for the second part of it's production and it looks great), plus its backed by a ministry I'm really fond of, Answers In Genesis.

So, the list is not limited to the following, but covers this:
List of completed audio tasks :
- Opening scene too noisy environment with GOD's voice
- Crackles removed at 1:20, 1:41 (distracting)
- Crackles removed at 2:32 (identical to snake transformation crackles)
- Crowd noise given more environment and less bass (for outside sounding feel)
- Moses' voice also given environment at river scenes
- Removed background noise at water strike - just kept whoosh and splash

Tasks led not to pursue:
- Was led not to copy fire from 1:52 to 1:16
- Was led not to add gasps and oohs when magicians appear
- Was led not to add more bass at 2:25

Tasks still needed:
- Lizard summersault sounds
- Lizard call sound (in at least three locations, but the same sound modified should suffice)
- Heartbeat needs reworking (too unfinished)
- Crackle bass needed at 01:16
- Snake sounds (for transformation)
- Snake sounds (for being caught)
- Hieroglyphic sounds for
     - Aaron's fade
     - Country's water into blood
     - Pots water into blood
     - Egyptians digging
     - River (still not clear on this one)
     - Night and day sounds
     - River restoration sound
- Pharaoh shrug-off and footsteps

Still quite a bit to do, but I know GOD will get me through it speedily so we can continue with chapter 8! For the final, I really don't feel like GOD wants a separation there. According to many sources, the chapters and verses method aren't used in the original texts - they just flowed. Chapters and verses, at least to me, are there to help you find your place.

 - Blood vs water
   This was quite surprising. While working on it, the whole fish to the surface thing just didn't sit right. I added it to the storyboards and so on, but still, it just didn't look right for some reason and the fact that blood is a non-newtonian fluid (like corn starch), it does not behave in a predictable manner like water does. Once you know how it responds, you can certainly predict it's behavior with reasonable accuracy, but it does not respond to the typical standards for water itsef.

   This means that, at least as I am led, the fish didn't surface where they died, but possibly miles down stream (at least, depending on rapids, heat, etc.). Since Egypt is as hot as it is, the fish would be as deep as the river would be during the day and if it is very deep, the likelihood of seeing fish actually surface within the first few days, would be very slim. I know this means that I could've had fish surface when the stripes came by, I honestly just didn't have peace about it, or I would've done it already. I am open to HIM giving me a direct word to add the fish there, but atm, I honestly don't think that's the direction HE wants to go in - at least not for this project.
