Aaron and the serpent

Hey all!

Oh yes, that time of the week again! Update time! Without further ado, here is this week's vlog:

GOD is so amazing!!

Honestly, I thought that I was going to be updating about this project once a month, because the videos take so long to make and edit, and ironically, it takes about the same amount of time as blogging does, hahaha. The only difference is that I can show you all more video and tests than I could if I had to upload everything individually. Vlogging is very very versatile! If you want to get these videos as soon as they upload, check out the YouTube channel here. Make sure to subscribe (here too) and if you are away from your e-mail, you can always watch for the latest video in the playlist here.

Aaron:
With Aaron, I used the exact same Make Human model as with Moses, but I did tweak it a bit before exporting again, just so his head is more oval and inverted triangular. The funny part to me is that Aaron looks younger, while he is actually 3 years older, hahaha.

For his hair, I just got an image in my head of his hair parted in the middle and I knew that was what I wanted to go for. Here, near the end, I got a little nervous, because the mirroring of the hair mesh created some ugly shapes I encountered before when starting to learn how to do mesh hair and I had a very eeeeeeck type reaction, hahaha.

He still needs a rod though, but I'm giving him Moses' because Moses was to tell him to throw down his. I missed that detail (for some reason in my head I thought it was Moses' that was thrown down).

Moses:
I am so thankful that Moses is completed. I did have a feeling I may be missing something, but I knew GOD would help me remember and get it added or adjusted, whatever it may be and it was indeed that I gave him Aaron's rod. The biggest delay in his completion was of course the serpent, because if he didn't have a rod to throw down, it wouldn't help, now would it, hahaha. Only my mistake was, like I just said, I gave him the wrong rod. Having said that, I'm simply going to adjust the one in his character file, because it does not contain the serpent - it's just the same one that was used for the serpent.

Just for clarity, the actual reference for that part reads:
"When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go." Exodus 7:9-14, KJV.

Yeah, we all have those moments, hahaha. I am soooooo thankful HE checks me on these things, otherwise it would've been wrong and I'd be like: "Go read it for yourself, it is that way!" hahaha. Pride is a very very ugly thing, especially in believers...

The serpent:
I guess you could say this one has quite a bit of controversy to it, but that is not the goal. My goal is accuracy. If people disagree with me, that is fine, I'm just doing what I believe GOD is leading me to do.

In the video, you can see that I went for a more reptilian dinosaur, frilled lizard kind of look, because that is what I really did feel led to use, but it was not necessarily that animal. Like I said, I wasn't there and I did ask GOD to take me there to witness it, but like John Paul said, there is a clarity-cost principle. The greater the clarity, the less room for error. I know GOD is giving me room to breathe on this project and I pray it blesses you, not offends you.

For more on a solid Biblical view concerning dinosaurs and the Bible and evolution, you can check out Kent Hovind's seminar videos here:

You can check out John Paul's video on Destiny (containing the clarity cost principle) here:

Well, that is it for this week! I hope and pray that this week will be even more productive and that Pharaoh might even be completed!

Do you know JESUS yet? If not, you are missing out on the best news ever!!

Have a great one and GOD bless you!!! :D
